My Music Mixed Process by 12 Play

Arranging my music to my performance is an art form that I take deep pride in. I begin my process by selecting the outfit and accessories that fit the theme I'm invested in. As I pick out my clothing and accessories, I begin to embody the character I will portray during the show. After I aligned my gear, I begin to focus on syncing my intro and walk out to set the tone of the performance. The average performance set of a male exotic dancer has four segments: The intro, walkout, jam session and the slow. I use five segments, the fifth is call taste.

The intro is the crowd's introduction to the dancer. My stage name is 12play. The intro I have snippets from 2/3 of the R. Kelly's first 12 Play Albums; (XII play, TP2.com and TP3: Reloaded). The melody is synced in story mode with familiar quotes that gets the crowd reflecting about the infamous "King of R&B".

Next is the walkout. The walkout in most urban dancer's mind set, is the most important part of the music mix. The walkout is a DJ or postproduction remake of a song that expresses the personality of the dancer or the theme that the dancer is trying to portray. A walkout can be any song in any genre, and it can be as short as 90 seconds or as long as 8 minutes.

Afterwards is the jam session. This is the party of the mix where are the upbeat music takes place. It can arrange from contemporary to retro music. The main key is that the tunes have to be relatable and instantly catchy to the audience's ear.

Lastly is the slow. The slow is the finale piece or final song of the track. This song is used for the largest stunt or prop that the adult entertainer uses to win the crowd over.

My secret weapon is a segment called the taste. I usually use it between the walkout and the jam session or after my jam session leading into the slow session. I usually insert this during my set to give a small preview of what to expect at the end. Just to build anticipation for the upcoming final act.

When you combine all these elements inside your music mix, as a male exotic performer your odds of making more money during the set increases dramatically. To see for yourself. Click Here.

The Life of an MC Entertainment Driver/Security

The life of being a driver/Security for MC Entertainment is an experience anyone should have. If you're looking for an exciting environment after the typical nine to five, this is the place for you. You can work your average day job or just lay back and enjoy the flexibility while receiving details of bookings throughout the day. Details including the type of party, who the entertainer you're driving will be, time and location.

These parties can last anywhere from an hour to four or five hours and to top it off you get a show of your own! Plus the experience of meeting a ton of new people all throughout Georgia. But overall you get paid to watch strippers do their thing. Some months are slower than others but when it picks up there is real money to be made. I've been driving with the company for seven years now and I love every bit of it, also getting to see different parts of GA and surrounding states makes it all worth the while. I try to make sure the entertainer's are comfortable in the vehicle and fully prepared for their clients party. MC Entertainment performers are wonderful to work with, they put on great shows, they know how to hype up the guests, and are always smiling and laughing while with the guests throughout the party. Coming to an end to this, the last thing I will say is in all my years of working with MC Entertainment, this is by far the best company to work for whether you're Security or a dancer and anyone interested should Apply Here.

Being A Stripper In Atlanta Is A Blast & A Lot Of Fun!

What Makes Stripping So Fun?

Being a stripper in Atlanta is one of those jobs where you really have to know what you're doing to be successful, but it also comes with a bunch of perks and is a blast once you get the hang of it!  Imagine having complete control of your working schedule, making large amounts of money for only a few hours of 'work', and being the star of every show! Exotic dancing has always gotten a bad rap and has been taboo, but that's all based on perspective.  Many men and women love working in the adult industry and actually prefer it over any other career. It's a little cliche, but you really don't know what it's like until you try it for yourself. I have enjoyed getting better aquatinted with my kinky sex work side.

How To Be Successful As An Exotic Dancer

First and foremost, you have to know the audience you're preforming for and the setting that you're dancing in.  It's very similar to the military (which I was in for two years) . When I got out of the Army I was a little lost in what I wanted to do with my life until I learned about the the adult entertainment company in Atlanta, MC Entertainment. I'm so glad I live in Atlanta and found this amazing company, and most importantly, that I found a job I love. You meet so many new people working in the adult industry and you also learn so much from them! I have gained more confidence in the past year than I have in the 25 years of my life before dancing.  This industry can truly boost your self worth if you play your cards right.

The Difference It Has Made In My Life

My previous job was working at a Chick-fil-a... Though I did enjoy working there and built some character along the way, the pay was garbage to say the least.  The funniest thing to me, is that I learned far more about customer service as a stripper than any actual customer service labeled position I've ever held.  You just can't beat being your own boss and getting to make your own schedule every single day. At most jobs in today's society, no matter how much effort you put in, you still make the same hourly wage.

I was also a lifeguard for 6 years and loved that job as well.  I learned a lot about time management and safety. Being a private party stripper is actually similar in those aspects. You have to dress the right way and know the rules. Being proactive is key and you need to know your way around the job. You want to make as much money in as little time as possible, but you also want customers to come back and book you from the company again.  I love being a The amount of money you make is solely dependent on how much effort you put into it.  However, this can also be a downfall because if you don't do your job right your income suffers.

From all of the jobs that I have worked this one is the one that taught me the most. If you are struggling and want a side job, you should really consider being a male or female stripper. You will learn a lot about yourself and learn from those around you. If you are a customer, that's good too, you could really entertain yourself with dancers' and their incredible stories and skill! I love my job, and I'm glad that I do what I do!

Stripping in Atlanta is Fast Money, Here's How to Save it

Stripping in Atlanta is Fast Money, Here's How to Save it

So, you've become an exotic dancer in Atlanta. Welcome to this crazy game of teasing and being paid. It's true what they say about the stripping lifestyle, this fast life comes with fast money. But what they fail to mention is how fast it goes. Most of what is made is spent maintaining your look and the rest is mainly for maintaining and paying bills. You never want to end up living paycheck to paycheck. Or in our case in the limelight, night to night.

Here's a few steps to take so you can stack up those savings.

      1. IMPULSE SHOPPING

Okay, so imagine you work in the best strip club in Atlanta. You made a bag last night., You worked super hard and it all paid off. Now you have a fat money roll in your pocket and your fingers are ITCHING to spend. You say "I'm spending it! I'll make it back tonight or the next day!". That's your first mistake. Now you've dropped a bag on a few fetish items, clothing, make up and sex toys.  And you feel great! Sooner or later that "shoppers regret" hits you. Here's how i avoid this. Always ask yourself " Do i WANT this? or do i NEED this? " Your answer lays between determining if its a supplemental or detrimental purchase.

       2.  PARTYING

We know you want to support fellow sex workers and adult entertainers but don't end up in an overpriced Atlanta gentlemen's club. Booze is expensive. Skip the hookah bar and the lung cancer. Don't do drugs. There too pricey anyway. Stick to the greens, that's all the protein you need. Also the fact that being intoxicated makes it hard to make conscious decisions you may not otherwise make while sober, like buying another round for the whole bar.

       3. HOUSE BROKE

The definition of house broke is basically renting a house you cant really afford. We get it, you're making good money and you want to live as luxuriously as you feel. This disables your ability to "live" as your budget for the month is taken by your housing. Try something that's less than half of your income.

       4. FREE LOADERS

People can be fake, We should all know this by now. When you're making good money everyone wants a piece of it.  Don't feed the moochers . I know it feels like the noble thing to do, first thing anyone does when they get money is help their family. By all means, help them. But watch out for the ones that take advantage of your help. And its normally from the ones you're closest too.

Take these tips and learn from the experiences of others, apply it to your life and start succeeding.

Being an Adult Entertainer, but Closed Minded to further Financial Opportunities

There's a lot that comes with being an adult entertainer in Atlanta. Mostly the backlash on one's perspective is what they think an adult entertainer is and what we do. I meet strippers all the time that work in some of the best strip clubs in Atlanta. They are really good at what they do but it's frustrating when I try to explain to them what I do as a mobile stripper. The opportunities it brings set aside from me being present in that atmosphere. A ton of adult entertainers get comfortable where they are and are closed minded in other upcoming opportunities because it may "seem to be" whatever they picture in their mind other than actually looking into it. Most strippers I've met think adult entertainment just stops at a strip club. That's not the case at all! When I speak with a woman about doing traveling adult entertainment, they almost instantly think someone is trying "pimp" them or get over on them. Not even being interested in doing background work on looking into different options and what it's all about being a traveling adult entertainment stripper. These people have no idea how much more fun and money they will have just by looking into and trying it.
Typically a stripper that works in a Atlanta strip club will come in to start a 10 to 12 hour shift. They pay for parking, tip the Dj, house mom, may buy an outfit or food and tip out to the club anywhere from $20 to $150 or more. That's a large percentage taken away from your overall income working a shift like that. The thing about taking away that kind of pay, it may be sufficient at the time but you really don't see the bigger picture overall for the work you are performing. Being a mobile stripper is something you should do with an established company. There are scams and shady people out there. I can't stress enough to do your homework!!! If you take your time to make sure a company is well established and respected, it's easier to take a chance. Just like a well established Atlanta strip club, people trust they can be treated rite. Typically, any woman that starts working at any strip club is more than likely going to do some kind of research on it or ask around for an opinion from someone that has experience at that strip club. There are strip clubs that are better than others, which may be a final decision in ones choice. Which should be done with most decisions in anyone's lifestyle, doing research on what's consuming your time.
It's interesting having interactions with people that have a similar background and hustle as me but won't open up their mind to even consider a financial opportunity to help better their own situation. That's all it took for me, is for a business associate to approach me and explain a legitimate business opportunity that he was offering and the benefits it involved. Of course, it caught my attention but I did my homework. I found out the company that was spoken of was credited for, well established and recommended by many relevant reviewers. I gave it a chance... I was nervous, with this being my first traveling adult entertainment show but to my surprise it went much better and smoother than expected. I had a "mentor" guiding me through what was to be expected and in our agreed company terms. As far as collecting payments, following safety guidelines, what to say to customers, when to go and stop, making boundaries and ending the party with grace. It's almost like a regular office job that includes training. You are not left alone, starting out with legit companies that lead and support in an accurate way.  Most female strippers get intimidated by the concept of working outside of a strip club and being a mobile stripper. When in reality you have a team that backs you up legitimately through safety, law and respect. In my experience, on any mobile entertainment booking I've been hired on, I get a full detail on who is conducting the party, how many people are attending, any requests that have been included, and your own flat fee you collect when you arrive at the party which is anywhere from $130 to $500. The max booking rate per hour could be 30 minutes to 1 hour not including the tips you make at your party overall. The flat fee is for the entertainers guaranteed booking fee. The only thing that makes a mobile stripper stay past their booking fee time is strictly tips. They are earning past their booking fee plus more.
The more entertainment a stripper has included in their show, the more likely it is for the customers to stay interested. That's where you have space to get creative and start collecting your benefits.
Comparing the flat booking fee plus tips on top of that, a mobile entertainer's overall income compared to a top "reviewed" strip club in Atlanta that an experienced worker has worked a long shift in is non comparable. Going into a strip club nothing is guaranteed, everything is a gamble. With traveling adult entertainment you know exactly what, who, when and where, before you give a final confirmation. Being in the adult entertainment industry with everything it involves it is hard enough. Not being confident as a traveling professional entertainer and respected as one independently instead of having a company and contacts supporting you is another confirmation.
